Syrian Army 5 km away from Tabaqa Crossroad, ISIS faces greatest threat

As a result of this imperative advance, the Syrian Armed Forces are now 5 km away from the Tabaqa Crossroad, which is only 31 km away from the strategic Military Airport.

AhlulBayt News Agency - The Syrian Armed Forces liberated the village of Khirbat Al-Zeidan on Monday night after advancing east along the Salamiyah-Raqqa Highway.

As a result of this imperative advance, the Syrian Armed Forces are now 5 km away from the Tabaqa Crossroad, which is only 31 km away from the strategic Military Airport.

Led by the Syrian Arab Army’s 555th Regiment of the 4th Mechanized Division and Desert Hawks, the Syrian Armed Forces are advancing at a rapid pace across the vast desert landscape of west Al-Raqqa.

This wide-scale advance by the Syrian Armed Forces has left the ISIS in an uncomfortable position inside the Maskanah Plains of east Aleppo, as they face the possibility of losing their most important supply route from the Al-Raqqa Governorate.

Meanwhile, north of the Maskanah Plains, the ISIS terrorists are facing another major threat from the U.S. backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) that are quickly advancing around the northeastern Aleppo countryside.

If ISIS loses their supply line from the Al-Raqqa Governorate, they will completely collapse along the Menbeij front of northeast Aleppo.
